Passive and Active Voice in the Text

  State of the Developing World's Health Billions of dollars are pumped every year into the Developing World to combat  diseases such as HIV/AIDS and Malaria. But how well has that money been utilized?  And is it true that this money is harming the healthcare system in these poor countries  more than it is helping? IslamOnline.net (IOL)'s Health and Science Section caught up with Dr. Jim Yong  Kim, ex-director of the World Health Organisation's HIV/AIDS Department, before  the International AIDS Conference 2008 which opened on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 in  Mexico City, Mexico, to discuss these issues and many more that are of particular concern to developing countries.  During his time as director of the HIV/AIDS Department, Dr. Kim led the "3x5"  initiative, which was designed to put three million people in developing countries on  AIDS treatment by 2005. He focused on initiatives and programs that helped  developing countries scale up their treatment,
